Interdental brushes are becoming increasingly popular as it is more gentle to the gums and carries less risk of hard dental brushing resulting in dental tissue damage. It is recommended by dental practitioners to clean between the teeth before brushing the teeth therefore removing any saliva which might be present in the interdental space.
